The Central Government has appointed Ms. Ardra Agarwal (IAS), currently with the Cottage and Rural Industries office in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, as a member of the Central Silk Board. This nomination, made under Section 4(3)(g) of the Central Silk Board Act, 1948, is for a three-year term, following a recommendation from the Government of Gujarat.
