2024 Recruitment Rules for Deputy Superintending Archaeological Architect.

The Ministry of Culture, Archaeological Survey of India, Deputy Superintending Archaeological Architect (Group ‘A’ Post), Recruitment Rules, 2024 outline the recruitment process for this role, effective from their publication in the Official Gazette. There are two posts available, classified as General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, with a pay level of Rs. 56,100–1,77,500.
Recruitment is conducted 100% by direct means, with candidates required to be under 35 years of age (with a five-year relaxation for government servants), holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, being registered with the Council of Architecture, and having three years of relevant experience. The rules disqualify individuals who marry while having a living spouse or remarry while their spouse is alive, unless exempted by the Central Government. The rules allow for relaxation in specific cases and ensure compliance with reservation policies. A one-year probation period includes mandatory induction training. Recruitment processes require consultation with the Union Public Service Commission.
