The Central Government has amended the notification No. 18/2022-Central Excise dated July 19, 2022, under the Central Excise Act, 1944, and the Finance Act, 2002. The amendment updates the rate specified for item S. No. 1 in the notification’s Table to “Rs. 2100 per tonne.” This change will take effect from August 17, 2024.
