Bhupender Singh, facing charges of house trespass, assault, and criminal intimidation, has been granted anticipatory bail by the High Court. The FIR was registered in Barotiwala Police Station, Solan, under sections 341, 452, 504, 323, 506, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The complainant, Gurmeet Singh, alleged that Bhupender and his brothers barged into his house, attacked him and his family. Bhupender, however, claimed he was the victim, beaten by Gurmeet and falsely implicated in the case.
The court, after considering the arguments and a video presented by Bhupender, granted him bail with a surety of Rs. 35,000. He is required to cooperate with the investigation, appear in court as directed, and refrain from intimidating witnesses or tampering with evidence. The order also includes maintaining good conduct and informing the court about any changes in his address or contact details.
