Appointment of Chief Inspector of Mines.

The Central Government has appointed Shri Ujjwal Tah, Deputy Director General of Mines Safety (Mining), as the Chief Inspector of Mines under the Mines Act, 1952. This appointment is effective from September 1, 2024, and will continue until the position is permanently filled or until further notice.
