Appointment of Lok Sabha Members to National Jute Board.

The Government of India, under the authority of Sub Section 4(b) of Section 3 of the National Jute Board Act, 2008, and in reference to the Ministry of Textiles Notification S.O.152(E) dated January 11, 2024, has appointed two Lok Sabha members to the National Jute Board. Shri Saumitra Khan and Prof. Sougata Ray will serve as members of the Board for a term of two years from the notification date.
