M/s. Nalanda Shelter Pvt. Ltd. proposed to set up a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for IT and IT-enabled services in Hinjewadi, Pune, Maharashtra. The Central Government has previously notified and de-notified various areas within this SEZ. The company now seeks to de-notify an additional 1.11 hectares. The Maharashtra State Government has approved this proposal, and the Development Commissioner has recommended it. Consequently, the Central Government has approved the de-notification, reducing the SEZ area to 3.95 hectares.
