The Central Government has designated the Special Land Acquisition Officer (J.O.) in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, as the Competent Authority for overseeing the railway project titled "Doubling between Jaunpur Jn and Zafrabad (6.28 km)." This appointment grants the officer the responsibility for the execution, maintenance, management, and operation of the project. This designation is effective from the date the notification is published in the official Gazette.
