Central Government Announces End of Interest on National Savings Scheme Balances.

The Central Government has announced that, starting from October 1, 2024, balances in the National Savings Scheme will no longer accrue interest. This decision supersedes the previous notification from March 1, 2003, but does not affect actions taken prior to this update.
