Central Government Declares New Railway Line Project as Special Railway Initiative.

The Central Government has designated the new broad-gauge railway line project connecting Malkangiri to Pandurangapuram, via Bhadrachalam (a distance of 173.6 km) on the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway, as a special railway project. This designation, effective from the date of the notification’s publication in the Official Gazette, covers areas in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
