Court Dismisses Petition After Savukku Media CEO Arrest.

The Madras High Court dismissed a writ petition filed by the creative head of Savukku Media, a private limited company, which sought to prevent the police from interfering with the company's affairs.

The Petitioner alleged that the police had increased vigil around the company's office after the arrest of its CEO. He further claimed that the police had locked the company's premises.

However, the court found no evidence to support these claims. The police filed a status report stating that their presence near the office was part of a routine check to maintain law and order in the busy area where the office is located.

The court also noted that the Petitioner had not provided any documentation to prove his authority to file the writ petition on behalf of the company.

While dismissing the petition, the court clarified that the order does not prevent the police from taking action against the Petitioner or the company if they find evidence of illegal activity.
