Deemed Resignation of Sh. M. Srinivasa Rao Due to Prolonged Absence.

Sh. M. Srinivasa Rao, an officer of the Indian Telecom Service, has been absent from duty without authorization for over five years, which constitutes misconduct under CCS (CCA) Rules, 1965. Despite multiple attempts to contact him, including a public notice, there has been no response. According to DoPT G.S.R. 261(E) dated 29.03.2012 and Rule 12(2) of CCS (Leave) Rules, 1972, which states that a government employee who is absent for over five years is deemed to have resigned, the Competent Authority has decided to consider his absence as a resignation. Consequently, Sh. M. Srinivasa Rao will not receive any retirement benefits.
