Delegation of Powers to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.

Under Article 239(1) of the Constitution and Section 45D of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991, the President has directed that the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, under presidential oversight, will exercise the President's powers related to the formation of any authority, board, commission, or statutory body, as well as the appointment of any government officer or ex officio member to such entities.
