The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in Lucknow has temporarily seized assets worth Rs. 1.02 crore from Rajeev Nayan Mishra and Subhash Prakash, who are key suspects in the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable and UPPSC RO/ARO exam leak cases. The seized assets include an advance on a Bhopal property (Rs. 39.36 lakh), a Greater Noida flat (Rs. 30 lakh), a Dadri plot (Rs. 10.50 lakh), a bank balance (Rs. 7.06 lakh), and two cars (Rs. 15.34 lakh).
The ED's investigation, initiated based on FIRs filed by UP Police, uncovered that Mishra, Prakash, and Ravi Attri, with help from associates, leaked exam papers for the UP Police and UPPSC exams. They profited by providing these papers to candidates before the exams. The accused facilitated gatherings at resorts in Manesar, Rewa, and Bhopal for this purpose. Bank records showed significant deposits around the time of exam notifications and dates. Mishra and Prakash also engaged in fraud by admitting students to private engineering colleges via Mishra's company, Semvault Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Mishra has a history of involvement in similar frauds in UP and MP. The investigation is ongoing.
