The Central Government has extended the designation of "Sikhs for Justice (SFJ)" as an unlawful association for another five years, starting July 10, 2024. To review this extension, an Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Tribunal, chaired by Justice Anoop Kumar Mendiratta of the Delhi High Court, has been established to assess if the extension is warranted.
