The Government of India has appointed Shri C. K. Malsom, TCS Grade-I (Selection Grade), Deputy Secretary, Revenue, Government of Tripura, as the Competent Authority under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962. He will take over from Shri Sabyasachi Singh, TCS Grade-II, for all Natural Gas Pipeline Projects of M/s. GAIL (India) Limited in Tripura. This appointment is on an additional charge basis for a period of two years and is effective immediately.
