The Government of India has authorized Sh. Vidya Sagar Bathla, Competent Authority for the New Mundra Panipat Crude Oil Pipeline Project, to perform the duties of the "Competent Authority" under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962, for the State of Haryana. This new designation is in addition to a previously notified authority as per the Gazette of India on June 27, 2024. The earlier Competent Authority, Shri Balraj Singh, has been de-notified. This notification is effective immediately.
