SEBI's new circular allows ESG Rating Providers (ERPs) to conduct ESG ratings under IFSCA's oversight at IFSC-GIFT City. IFSCA now handles all regulatory matters, complaints, and enforcement related to these activities, effective immediately. This change aims to strengthen investor protection and regulate ESG ratings in the international financial services sector.
