Notice of Promotion and Transfer within P&T Building Works Service.

The President has approved the promotion of Shri Sanjay Gupta to the Senior Administrative Grade (Pay Level 14) of the P&T Building Works Service (Group-A), effective from the date he assumes the new position. He is currently serving as Director at the Department of Posts and will be promoted to Chief Engineer (Electrical) in Delhi, following a transfer order.
The promotion follows clearance from the Vigilance branches of both the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Department of Posts (DoP). If any disciplinary issues or penalties are discovered later, further approval from the Department is required before finalizing the promotion.
Additionally, Shri Amar Relan is being transferred from Maharashtra LSA to the Office of the DG(T) in New Delhi at his own expense, where he will also oversee the duties of DDG (IM), NTIPRIT without extra pay until further notice.
Shri Sanjay Gupta’s pay does not need re-fixation since he has already received a non-functional upgradation to SAG (Level-14). Charge reports are to be submitted accordingly, and a Hindi version of this order will be issued.
