The Central Government has announced its intention to acquire land for the expansion and maintenance of NH548B, stretching from Km 228.042 to Km 252 in the Dharashiv (Osmanabad) district of Maharashtra. This acquisition is authorized under the National Highways Act, 1956. The affected area includes private agricultural land and a small portion of government land in the village of Kawatha, Taluk Omerga. Landowners and interested parties have 21 days from the notification's publication to raise objections. These objections must be submitted in writing to the Sub Divisional Officer and Land Acquisition Officer, who will review and decide on them. The decision made by the Competent Authority will be final.
