The Government of India, via a notification dated June 14, 2024, has declared its intention to acquire land for the construction and maintenance of a major bridge and associated infrastructure on NH548B between Km. 226.866 and Km. 228.042 in Latur district, Maharashtra. 

The notification was published in the Gazette of India and the local newspapers “Rajdharm” and “Prativyavahar” on August 2, 2024. After considering and addressing objections, and receiving a report from the competent authority, the Central Government has confirmed the acquisition of the specified land. Upon publication of this notification, the land will be vested in the Central Government free of encumbrances. The schedule lists the details of the land to be acquired, which includes 0.05 hectares of private agricultural land in Nadi Hattarga village, owned by Madhav Eknath Ghodke and Suresh Shahajirao Ghodke.
