The Central Government plans to acquire land for expanding and maintaining National Highway No-966 (Greenfield) from Km.0.000 to Km.61.440 in Palakkad, Kerala, under the National Highways Act, 1956. Interested parties can object within 21 days of the notification's publication. Objections should be submitted in writing to The Special Deputy Collector, CALA, NH, Palakkad, who will review and decide on them. The affected land includes private plots in Malampuzha and Puthuppariyaram villages, totaling 0.1003 hectares, primarily wet and some dry.
