The Central Government is seeking public input on proposed amendments to the Static and Mobile Pressure Vessels (Unfired) Rules, 2016. These changes, detailed in the draft published for review, include new fee structures for various inspections and certifications. The fees range from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 5,000 depending on the service, such as stage-wise inspections, design appraisals, and safety certifications. Feedback on these draft rules should be submitted within 30 days to the Deputy Secretary (Explosives) at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The amendments will take effect upon publication in the Official Gazette.
