Public Notice for Land Acquisition – Miyagam Karjan-Lakodara Flyover Project, Vadodara District.

The Central Government, under the powers granted by the Railways Act, 1989 (as amended in 2008), has issued a notice of intent to acquire land in the District of Vadodara, Gujarat, for the Miyagam Karjan-Lakodara flyover connection line project. The specific land to be acquired is detailed in the annexed schedule, and it consists primarily of private agricultural land, with a small portion being government land.
Individuals with an interest in the land have 30 days from the date of the notification's publication in the Official Gazette to raise objections to the acquisition. Objections must be submitted in writing to the competent authority, which is the Prant Officer in Karjan. The objector will be heard and provided an opportunity to present their case. After considering the objections, the competent authority will issue a final decision, which cannot be appealed. The land details and the specific survey numbers of the affected properties are available for inspection at the office of the competent authority.
