Road to Progress: Land Acquisition for NH-130A Expansion in Bilaspur.

The Government of India has issued a notification under the National Highway Act, 1956, to acquire land for the construction, maintenance, and operation of the NH-130A road, specifically between Km 0.000 to Km 15.600 in the Bilaspur-Urga section of Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh. The Central Government has declared its intention to acquire the land, following the necessary legal procedures, including publication of the notification in local newspapers. After considering objections and submitting a report, the competent authority has finalized the land acquisition. This land will now be vested in the Central Government, free from encumbrances, for the purpose of road development.
The land to be acquired is located in the village of Nimtara, Taluk Masturi, and includes private irrigated land with a total area of 0.11 hectares. The landowners or interested persons are Anusuiya Singh, Sangeeta Singh, and Jaya Singh, who hold land parcels numbered 348/2, 348/3, and 348/4.
