Rules for Issuing Commemorative Coin for Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Vadtaldham Dwishatabdi Mahotsav.

The Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Vadtaldham Dwishatabdi Mahotsav) Rules, 2024, established under the Coinage Act, 2011, authorize the issuance of a ?200 commemorative coin to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Vadtaldham. These rules, which will come into force upon their publication in the Official Gazette, detail the coin's specifications: it will be a circular coin with a diameter of 44 millimeters, made of 99.9% pure silver, and weigh 40 grams, with a tolerance of ±1/8000th of the standard weight. The obverse of the coin will feature the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar with the inscription “??????? ????” below, flanked by “????” and “INDIA,” and the denomination “200” alongside the Rupee symbol. The reverse will display the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Vadtaldham, with inscriptions in both Devanagari and English, and the years “1824” and “2024” on either side of the temple image to commemorate the occasion.
