Rules for the Commemorative Coin Issued for State Bank of India Mumbai Main Branch Centenary.

The Central Government has established rules for issuing a commemorative coin to mark the centenary of the State Bank of India Mumbai Main Branch, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette. The coin, valued at one hundred rupees, will have a circular shape with a diameter of 44 millimeters, featuring 200 serrations and composed of a quaternary alloy of silver (50%), copper (40%), nickel (5%), and zinc (5%). The design includes the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar on the obverse, with inscriptions in Devanagari and English, and the reverse depicts the Mumbai Main Branch Building with text commemorating its centenary. The coin's standard weight is 35 grams, with allowable variations in silver content and total weight as specified.
