Summary of Toll Rates and Collection Procedures for National Highway 965C.

23 August 2024
The Government of India has delegated responsibility for a section of National Highway No. 965C in Maharashtra to the State Government of Maharashtra. In accordance with this, the Central Government has established toll fees for vehicles using this highway section from Pandharpur to Sangola. The toll rates are based on the type of vehicle and road conditions, with different fees for multi-lane and two-lane sections.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is authorized to collect these fees at specified plazas. Toll rates are set at 100% of the base rate for four-lane sections and 60% of the base rate for two-lane sections. Additional fees apply for structures longer than 60 meters, calculated by converting their length into an equivalent road length.

Monthly passes for local non-commercial vehicle owners are priced at Rs. 340 for 2024-25, with variations for multiple journeys and commercial vehicles. Special rates apply for vehicles registered in the local district, and overloaded vehicles must pay extra fees and reduce their load to use the highway.
The actual fee amounts and discounts will be updated annually and published in newspapers. The estimated capital cost of the project is Rs. 218.38 crore, subject to changes as project-related activities progress.
