In a recent decision, the court granted permission to file a review petition but ultimately dismissed it. The petition challenged a judgement and order issued on November 29th, 2023.

While the court allowed the filing of the petition, it rejected the request for a hearing in open court. Additionally, any delay in filing the petition was excused (condoned) by the court.

After reviewing the challenged judgment, the court found no basis for the review. There was no clear error identified in the official record (error apparent on the record) and no other grounds for review were deemed valid. As a result, the review petition was dismissed.
