Supreme Court Grants Bail to Ram Manohar Singh in Dowry Death Case.

Ram Manohar Singh, who has been detained since September 27, 2022, filed a special leave plea with the Supreme Court in response to a formal complaint under the Dowry Prohibition Act and sections of the IPC, including 304-B (dowry death). The trial is anticipated to take a long period, and no witnesses have been questioned despite the accusations being filed on January 15, 2025. 


 

 
 
 

The Court ordered the petitioner to be released on bond, subject to terms set by the trial court, in light of the lengthy incarceration and trial delay. As a result, the petition and any outstanding applications were dismissed.
