Urgent Land Acquisition for NH544 Widening in Thrissur: Objections Invited.

The Central Government, under the powers granted by Section 3A(1) of the National Highways Act, 1956, has declared its intention to acquire land for the development of NH544, specifically for the construction and maintenance of a highway stretch between Km. 270 to Km. 342 in Perambra Village, Chalakudy Taluk, Thrissur District, Kerala. The land required is for the widening of the highway and other related purposes.
Interested parties can file objections within 21 days from the notification’s publication in the Official Gazette. Objections should be submitted to the Competent Authority, the Special Deputy Collector, NH66 Kodungallur, and will be considered after due inquiry. The authority will hear the objections and issue a final order. The detailed land plans and information are available for inspection at the office of the Competent Authority.
